After temps flirting with 100 for the past few days, the weather finally cooled down enough to work on the baby quilt I've been making.  I stitched together the blocks and basted the sandwich together.  With a few more pleasant evenings, I should get quite a bit of quilting done.

Inspiration comes from so many places.  Lately, mine has been from memories of long-ago kitchens, and of laundry on clotheslines.  The fabric patterns were so different from ones we have now.

Have a wonderful weekend.  Hike, bike, sit by the shore, play outdoors, bake a loaf of zucchini bread.  Be inspired  :)

"be inspired". Hah. I am just trying to keep the tomatoes and rosemary watered (forecast is 111 for N. Oklahoma), and water in front of the chickens (the roosters have decided knocking the waterer over is the neatest game. but they squawk about the empty waterer).
