A present from my hands to you ..... a Welcome Spring! banner crafted from the same vintage aprons that I am currently using in my floral wreath quilt.
I have edged it with a dainty lace and seafoam green rickrack from my fabulous stash of vintage trims accumulated over the years.
It is wide enough to top a kitchen window, edge a shelf or mantel, or just set on a window sill.
I've created this banner to honor our grandmothers who worked from sun up to sun down to make their homes clean, healthy, nourishing, and beautiful. It's my gift to you, if your name is picked from the comments on this post on Thursday morning, March 10th at 6:00 am EST.

That is just what we need to Welcome Spring with open arms.....
Great Giveaway!
Oooo...now I would LOVE to win this! I love all things handmade...and being from the same scraps you are using in that wonderful quilt makes it all the better:)
Sew Pretty! Hmm....If I win I'll probably hang it in the window above my kitchen sink as if to shout "Bring on Spring!" to the still wintry white world outside my door :)
I love the colors and the inspirational story behind its' creation! If I win, does Spring arrive with it :) xo Cat
Hi Maria,
By the way, I saw about 10 robins sitting in a patch of grass near work yesterday!!! Spring is really coming :)
Hi Mug,
The quilt is a slow process, but it's becoming very dear to me!
Hi MyStory,
I like your thinking ;)
Hi Cat,
I'll do whatever I can about that :)
Thanks for stopping by!
This is so beautiful! I don't know about the outside world but it will definitely bring spring inside!
Thanks for making this and thank you so much for the support in my troubles and worries.
I thought I had signed up for this gorgeous banner... thank you for the reminder to do so... and for the opportunity!
The first thing I thought of was how cute this banner would look over the kitchen window. You took the idea right out of my head.
It's so sweet and springlike.
I'm in....
I would love to win this banner! I love aprons and anything vintage and this is a great mix of the two.
What a great way to honor our grandmothers and mothers before us that worked so hard to make our house a home. I so love that idea!
Pretty please pick me!!
